Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art sits on a 120-acre campus in Bentonville, Arkansas and blends seamlessly into the natural landscape and nearby natural spring, with its walls made out of architectural concrete with wood inlays and its locally-sourced materials.  The museum houses galleries, meeting and classroom spaces, a large, glass-enclosed gathering hall, a restaurant on a glass-enclosed bridge overlooking ponds, a museum store, and a library of over 50,000 volumes.  The structure is located in a ravine and serves as a dam as well as a bridge.
